May 15th @ Woven Metal 2 Memphis Botanic Gardens 10 am to 5 pm

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make three different woven pieces. (if you took Metal Weaving in March, these are *different* projects, but similar techniques) Project 1 is a pendant woven on a freeform frame with mixed metals (sterling silver and copper). Project 2 is a woven cuff – the brass frame is ready for you to weave fine wires on. There will be the option to add bling! Project 3 is pair of earrings woven with flat strips of metal.

Your class kit ($40- payable to instructor at the class time) includes all the materials needed to make one of each type of project. We will have extra kits for each of the projects if you want to purchase and make more.

Your class fee includes full-color step by step instructions for each project, so you’ll be able to easily make more at home!

All the heavy-hitting tools for this class are provided for use- we have mandrels, hammers, and more. If you have the following tools, please bring them as it will make the class go smoother and faster:  Jewelry files, Jewelry pliers, steel block, and rawhide/nylon mallet.
