About the Event
Create a sketch and then make it in metal! In this class you'll learn how to turn ideas into designs and those into flat and dimensional pieces of jewelry fabricated from different sizes and shapes of wire. These forms are suitable as jewelry on their own or as bases for wire wrapping on beading, depending on what you want to do!
We will learn how to create sharp corners and gently flowing curves, how to choose the right gauge for the job, and what tools will make the whole process more successful - and less frustrating! We will cover how to secure connections and construction tips and tricks to take your wire frames to new heights.
No sketches- no worries! There will be some basic design sketches provided to help get you started.
