About BMB Designs
Located in the heart of Bartlett, just outside Memphis, TN, BMB Designs houses the classroom, working space, retail supply shop, and gallery for artist and instructor Brandy Boyd.
Offering a wide range of classes from beginner metal clay classes, basic silver-smithing, to enameling, fold forming and more, BMB Designs also carries the tools and supplies to take what you learn in class further.
Since opening the doors in the late fall of 2012, the variety of tools and materials offered for metalsmithing and jewelry making has increased to include tools from EuroTool, Beadsmith, NC Black and CoolTools, metal clays from Art Clay and Project X, hard to find and unique artisan-cut gemstones, sheet, wire and specialty metals, and so much more.
Brandy is mostly self-taught in fabrication and metalsmithing, but holds several certifications in metal clay, including Senior Certification with Art Clay World, New Mokume Gane, Level 2 certification from PMC connection, and Camp MC instructor. She also authored the Camp MC Enameling Artisan Certification course. She has been teaching metal clay and other small metals techniques since 2006.
You can find her jewelry at the Metal Museum in Memphis, the gallery at Arkansas Craft School in Mountain View, mid-south arts and crafts shows such as Pink Palace and RiverArts, and in the shop at BMB Designs.
