About the Event
Learn how to combine glass and metal in this beginner friendly class. We will be working with lead-free enamels and copper metal to create pendants,
earrings and charms that will add color and interest to your jewelry.
Experience with enameling is *not* required for this class. We'll cover all the basics, and you'll leave class with lots of inspiration and information to keep the creativity going. This class is for anyone wanting to learn to add color to their work and explore enameling basics.
Techniques covered in the class include sgraffito, using stencils, incorporating seed beads and stringers, and layering. You’ll learn how colors work together, how to prepare metal for enameling, how to fix issues as they arise and more.
