Filigree may look difficult, but this workshop breaks it down into its smallest elements and shows you how to build your own unique and airy pieces of sterling silver wearable art. Dive into the intricate world of filigree and soldering in this hands-on workshop designed for jewelry enthusiasts and beginners alike.


In this class, we will create frames from flattened sterling wires, create different styles of filigree components, and fill the frames with them to create a beautiful and durable pieces of jewelry. One of the projects is a freeform, frameless piece that is surprisingly strong. We will talk about how you can use several basic shapes to make complex designs.
