KTSS- Boxes and Lockets - Swivel Locket

Learn the art of crafting lockets and boxes from sterling silver! This class is one in a series of locket making metalsmithing classes- they are all stand alone classes and can be taken in any order.

This is beginner to intermediate-level class and will utilize basic silver soldering, using jewelry files, pliers, and box making techniques. This class is the Swivel Hinge locket where students use tubing and a rivet on the lid to create a locket that rotates open. Students will add a bead and loop clasp to hold the locket closed and a bail to hang the locket from. (Locket can be kept as a small keepsake box, if preferred)
