Rework your Jewelry Box

Do you have a bunch of jewelry sitting around that you just don't love anymore, or maybe you love it but it's broken or doesn't fit? Then this may be the class for you!

Bring your old sterling silver and/or gold jewelry to class and learn how you can turn it into something new. We will discuss how to reclaim metal, rework pieces - like turning a pendant into a ring - and how to reuse and recycle. If you have something you're unsure about, bring it too and we'll see if we can identify hallmarks or test the metal to determine what it is. Melting, ingot pouring, using the rolling mill, holding/heat sink clay, and more will be covered.

Your class fee includes instruction, use of tools and equipment - including torches, and some consumable supplies. Metal, solder, and stones will be available for purchase on an as needed…
